Data Flow - Filter Condition not working correctly

Summary
A Data Flow contains a filter shape, when this Data Flow is executing all of the records are being filtered out by the filter shape. Thus the outcome from the filter shape is zero. This is not the expected result and does not match with the result seen when the preview option is used from this Filter shape.
The preview of the Filter shape is correctly reporting that the records which are selected according to the filter condition.

Steps to Reproduce
- Execute a Data Flow containing a filter shape.
- Check the output from the Filter shape after the run.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-27273.
