Drill down functionality using chart control

Summary
Drill down functionality on click of the chart is not working, when a chart control using report definition is used.
The same thing seems to work if user runs report from the Report definition.
Error Messages
Not Applicable.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a Report Definition(RD) with drill down and configure bar chart in it.
2. Explicitly run the report definition, one can see chart and it is possible to drill down to actual data that is, if hovered on bar graph , it is clickable.
3. Now use a chart control in section and configure it to use above created RD, drill down is not possible.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules. Report definitions do not support drill down when displayed with a chart control.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior: Report definitions do not support drill down when displayed with a chart control.
An enhancement request, FDBK-15112, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management. Another alternative is to creatre a custom control
