Localized value of pyCaption is not picking after check-in.

SA-53988

Summary

Incorrect Japanese text displays after a rule Check in or when the locale setting is ja_JP. This occurs despite creating the pyCaption value on the rule set version to display 'はい'.

That is, '' displays instead of 'はい'.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a pyCaption value to display the Japanese text, 'はい'.
  2. Check in the rule and run the case with ja_JP locale setting. The '' Japanese text is displayed instead of 'はい'.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

Resolution

Field Value is retrieved from the language pack rulesets. In this case, the field value is fetched from the Pega-EndUserUI_Ja ruleset.
Create field values in the application rulesets created for '_ja' language pack to override.
