Summary

Modal windows are not launched in the center of the screen when invoked near the bottom of the screen.

Users need to scroll up to find and interact with the modal.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have enough content on the screen to introduce a scrollbar.
2. Launch a modal dialog near the bottom of the screen.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. This issue occurs in the presence of older "Action" work section in the harness.

Resolution

As a local-change upgrade your design and replace the older Action section with the more current pyActionArea.
​Modal positioning will always be centered on the visible screen with this change.
