While using a flow with the "Temporary object" checkbox enabled, an error occurs.

Steps to Reproduce
Click a button that is configured to launch a modal popup.
Root Cause
The modal popup's flow action pre-activity contained a page-new step with a blank step page. This caused the primary page to be cleared, and in particular, the pyTemporaryObject property got removed. The out-of-box performFlowAction activity tried to save the object but requires it be locked before it can persist it to the database.
Resolution
Remove the blank page-new step.
