Summary

When user pastes content that contains formatting from a Word Document into a Rich Text Editor control, some of the content is getting deleted.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Copy below content from a word document into a RichText Control:

Review cannot be completed until the following is submitted:
ATTN CRMI
1. RMA. Form 710 is not acceptable for Non-GSE loans
2. All pages/schedules of the tax return


2) After copying you see below message in richtext editor
ATTN CRMI
1.< >
All pages/schedules of the tax return

Root Cause

Prior to Pega 7, with a third party tool called YUI Editor to support our Rich Text Editor functionality.

In Pega 7, it is using a different third party editor called CKEditor.

​This is an issue in CKEditor version 4.3.x which is what we currently use. This issue has been fixed by CKEditor in 4.5.2.

This will be a product enhancement.

Resolution

An enhancement request, FDBK-17532, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
