Unable to pass Clipboard reference for runScript event function

SA-3945

Summary

System is not able to pass a clipboard reference as a parameter to the function of a run script event.

Error Messages

Clipboard reference is not passed as a parameter value for the function referred in run script event

Steps to Reproduce

The system is upgraded from PRPC 6.2 SP1 to 7.1.6:

1. Create a section.
2. Include an icon in the cell of any layout.
3. Navigate to the actions tab of the icon properties.
4. Add action "RunScript".
5. Enter the required function name and pass the parameter and a parameter value which is the clipboard reference.

Root Cause

The harness uses an old Action section which does not work correctly with the new APIs.

Resolution

Referencing OOTB pyCaseActionArea (as of 7.x version) in the harness by replacing the 6.x custom Action section resolved the issue. However, after doing this change, the Save button in the harness started behaving incorrectly and the pyActionArea was not visible. Hence the section showing the work object details was not showing on the screen.

It was found that the Save Button calls an activity which does a Show-Harness. The current page parameters were not getting passed to this method and hence the harness was being shown and was unable to figure out which flow action to be called. Passing current page parameters to the method resolved the issue.
